BAM STRATEGY ::Happy Holidays 2012::

Twas the night before the move when all throughout BAM,
Not a mouse was being clicked, not by one single hand.

The boxes were stacked by the door with care,
In hopes that the moving crew soon would be there.

1996
Titanic

While some employees rested, others gathered and conversed,
Reminiscing about events that happened since BAM’s birth:

"It’s been over 16 years since our first day,
As the world turned, boy we’ve come a long way!"

"It all started with 2 employees and a personal loan.
I think it was the same year as Dolly the sheep was cloned.

The way we ended our second business year was close to tragic;
With only 40 dollars in the bank, we almost sunk like the Titanic.

Then came the Ice Storm... Still, we kept our morale,
Inspired by the births of future greats, Google and PayPal."

2000
Survivior show Dot-survivor

"In 1999, Napster and MySpace hit the scene;
Our company grew and bought a well deserved coffee machine.

I remember being ahead of the curve with my state of the art blackberry,
And when the dot com bubble burst, things got a little scary.

We moved to a bigger office, and while most dreaded the coming Y2K,
I remember watching Survivor in the lounge, drinking cafe au lait.

Now wasn’t that the year some of the office computers were stolen?
Yes, then everything was retrieved, not a single piece of equipment broken."

"Then BAM moved again, this time to an office which was smaller at best,
Heck, this new space had 3 employees sharing one small desk.

In 2002, while Kelly Clarkson became the first American Idol,
BAM proudly announced the Client Service department’s arrival.

While the East Coast experienced the great blackout in 2003,
We were touched, and improved our life by beginning to work with P&G."

2004
Subservient Chicken Dot-chicken

"Facebook was founded and grew in popularity on the Harvard Campus,
Burger King made The Subservient Chicken slave to our requested madness.

And like Tom Cruise on the Oprah show, we just couldn’t fight it,
The launch of divine.ca had us jumping up all excited."

2006
Têtes À Claques

"2006 was a crazy year which went by pretty fast;
But with videos like Têtes à claques, we had time for a laugh.

And when the fire alarm had us evacuate the building on Halloween,
The BAMmers in costume gave passersby a good scream.

Then via YouTube, many viral videos hit the scene,
Like the Leave Britney Alone clip... people can be so mean."

2008
George Bush shoe attack

2009
Angry Birds Dot-Angry

"In 2009, webSaver.ca was launched, offering savings galore;
Angry Birds did slingshot its way to #1 in the Apple App store.

Winter 2010, we kept warm with the Vancouver Games,
While the infectious Bieber Fever had everyone going insane."

2011
Occupy Montréal

"2011, with the sounds of pots and pans occupying the streets,
Dealivery.ca hits the web promoting deals that can’t be beat.

And with our 15 year anniversary, we had good reason to celebrate;
We threw a fun party with dinner, dancing and a great big cake."

2012
Mayan Calendar Dot-Mayan

Which brings us to the move, which is currently taking place;
We’ve packed up our boxes and are heading to an awesome new space.
